About the role#
This is a paid, year-round internship based in Saukville, Wisconsin. You will work 15-20 hours per week during the academic year and transition to full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer of 2027. You will gain hands-on experience by supporting various HR projects, administrative initiatives, and core functions within the team.
What you'll do#
- Develop professional HR communications, presentations, and meeting materials.
- Analyze workforce data and reports to support employee engagement, recruiting, and HR initiatives.
- Support new hire onboarding and assist with facilitating new hire orientation.
- Prepare reports and analyze trends related to turnover, engagement, and stay/exit interviews.
- Conduct bi-weekly audits for hourly performance reviews and Pay for Skills tracking.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding Summer Helpers.
- Create employee presentation materials and participate in weekly HR team meetings.
- Support a variety of HR projects and administrative initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment.
- HRIS experience, customer service experience, and familiarity with HR practices and law are preferred.
