About the role#
This is a year-round internship starting in January 2027. You will gain hands-on experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics to solve business challenges. You will work with business and manufacturing teams to analyze processes, prepare data, and develop practical technology solutions. This role involves presenting technical insights to various stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business and manufacturing teams to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare, validate, and organize data for reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Develop and test workflows using tools like ChatGPT, Alteryx, SQL, Snowflake, Python, Power Automate, and Tableau.
- Create reusable AI prompts, workflows, and custom GPT solutions to streamline work.
- Build and maintain documentation for business processes and best practices.
- Validate data quality and support the development of repeatable data preparation workflows.
- Test solutions with end users, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.
- Communicate project outcomes and business impact to cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT Management, or a related field.
- Current status of at least a Sophomore level.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to succeed in a team environment and handle multiple tasks.
Location & details#
- Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
- Modality: Hybrid.
- Schedule: Part-time (15-20 hours per week) during the academic year, with full-time (40 hours per week) during the summer.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship position.
