About the role#
As a Smart Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with project planning and cross-functional collaboration. You will identify ways to apply AI to improve business and manufacturing processes while supporting the broader digital transformation of our operations.
What you'll do#
- Help expand our AI vision safety systems.
- Support engineering practices for plant robots.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Assist or lead projects related to digital transformation.
- Document and improve existing processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Automation, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Current status of at least a sophomore.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks.
- Enthusiasm for new technology and process improvement.
Location & details#
- Locations: Saukville, WI and Mequon, WI.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
