About the role#
The Environment Student supports the Midstream Environment team in managing environmental compliance, monitoring, and assessments. This 8-month internship offers hands-on experience through a mix of fieldwork and office tasks. You will work alongside professionals to develop skills in environmental field programs, regulatory compliance, and technical collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Conduct environmental monitoring and assessments, including site inspections and groundwater sampling.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and internal teams on remediation and reclamation programs.
- Prepare and file environmental reports to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in environmental technical meetings and present findings to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Agriculture, or related program at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Must be returning to full-time studies after the work term or be registered in an accredited co-op or internship program for the duration of the term.
- Candidates currently enrolled in a Masters or Ph.D. program may be considered.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada full-time.
- Valid Canadian class 5 Driver's License with no restrictions.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.
- Provision of a recent driver’s abstract for the preceding 5-year period.

- Location: Lloydminster, Saskatchewan.
- Term: Summer 2027 start (May 2027).
- Modality: On-site.
- This is a safety-sensitive role requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
