About the role#
As an Environmental Intern, you will support the environmental department at EQT during a 12-week program. You will learn how the team protects operations for a natural gas producer. This role involves a mix of office and field work. You will gain exposure to actual field operations, interact with contractors, and contribute to EHS programs.
What you'll do#
- Support the environmental department and cross-train with other teams.
- Conduct field investigations and use field instrumentation.
- Perform administrative tasks, including entering environmental inspections into the company database.
- Support compliance initiatives through technical evaluations and recommendations.
- Participate in training, seminars, and team building activities.
- Complete a summer project and present your findings to management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor degree program for environmental science, geology, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year at an accredited 4-year institution.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- A valid driver license and the ability to operate a company vehicle.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and experience with spreadsheet data analysis.
- Strong mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
