About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027. You will join the Commodities department to analyze market trends, manage risk, and support trades within the natural gas portfolio. You will work on projects related to supply, demand, storage, and transportation fundamentals.
What you'll do#
- Support the Commodities department on market fundamentals and trading strategies.
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and portfolio optimization.
- Use data analytics and visualization tools like Excel, Spotfire, and Power BI.
- Interact with various levels of the organization to share insights and improve business processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Completion of at least your sophomore year at an accredited 4-year university.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to understand business concepts and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills for communicating with stakeholders.

This position is remote. Please note that remote work is not available for residents of Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, or New York.
