About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Winter 2027 based in New York. You will work on-site with the Alternative Investment Group to support tax assignments across various industries like Real Estate, Healthcare, and Manufacturing.
What you'll do#
- Assist in planning tax assignments and see client work through from beginning to end.
- Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.
- Build your tax compliance knowledge by helping with IRS audits, tax notices, and trust or estate returns.
- Build relationships with client staff and maintain high professional standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- A Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and research.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
