About the role#
Wipfli is hiring for an Audit Internship for the Spring 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid position that requires you to work on-site at our offices or at client locations. You will work alongside professionals from various levels of the firm to support client engagements and develop your skills as a business advisor.
What you'll do#
- Perform audit, review, and compliance testing procedures based on professional standards.
- Prepare financial statements and footnotes, management reports, and other engagement outputs.
- Respond to requests from clients and firm associates in a professional manner.
- Use data analysis skills to find useful information and patterns.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
- Work both as an individual contributor and as part of a team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- You have completed a corporate or individual taxation class.
- You have an above average knowledge of accounting, demonstrated by your college GPA.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You can prioritize work, follow through on requests, and meet deadlines.
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We do not provide sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
- This internship is based in Clayton, Missouri, or St. Charles, Missouri.
- The role requires in-person attendance at a Wipfli office or client sites.
