About the role#
Cogent Analytics is looking for an Accounting Intern to join our team in Greensboro. This role focuses on hands-on accounting operations and day-to-day administrative tasks. You will work alongside our team to gain practical experience in financial documentation and business operations.
What you'll do#
- Support accounting operations, financial documentation, and data entry.
- Assist with recordkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Provide administrative support including email management and coordination.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, partners, and prospects.
- Help with special projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Intermediate computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles and financial terminology.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial and business information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
