About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience and exposure to client service within the Japanese Services Group. You will work alongside tax professionals to build technical knowledge through research, collaboration, and technology-enabled tasks. The program includes mentorship and coaching to help you develop practical skills for complex tax matters.
What you'll do#
- Support client service teams with tax research, analysis, and project delivery.
- Evaluate the tax impact of business decisions and transactions.
- Collaborate with team members to address complex tax issues.
- Use tax, data, and technology tools to support project execution.
- Develop your knowledge of tax considerations across various client offerings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance.
- Expected graduation date by Summer or Fall 2028.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (3.2 preferred).
- Definitive plans to meet the educational requirements for CPA licensure.
- Completion of technology-related coursework.
- Prior experience through an internship, summer position, or school job.
- Ability to travel up to 50% and attend all in-person programming.
- Minimum age of 18 at the time of employment.
Location & details#
- Locations: Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and San Jose.
- Terms: Summer 2027 or Winter 2028.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (expected to co-locate 2-3 times per week).
- Status: Full-time and paid.
