About the role#
The Busy Season Tax Intern program runs from January through mid-April. You will gain hands-on experience working directly with senior tax employees and receive real-time feedback. This is a part-time, paid position based in our Hunt Valley office.
What you'll do#
- Work on income tax returns for local businesses.
- Prepare entire income tax returns from start to finish.
- Collaborate with a tax return team that includes managers and partners.
- Gain exposure to corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance.
- Work across a variety of entity types and industries.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- A GPA of 3.4 or higher.
- Previous successful business experience, with a preference for prior public accounting internships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to produce high-quality work products.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Location & details#
- Location: Hunt Valley, Maryland.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Commitment: You must be able to work 2 full 8-hour days per week in the Hunt Valley office.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to the office and client sites is required.
