About the role#
PYA is hiring Audit & Assurance Interns for the Summer 2028 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our offices. You will work with our team to gain experience in professional accounting and auditing services.
What you'll do#
- Follow documentation standards to prepare clear and orderly working papers.
- Carry out audit procedures, including planning, execution, and reporting tasks assigned by your supervisor.
- Build an understanding of the purpose and impact of the audit work you perform.
- Handle various accounting, auditing, and administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- You have technical agility and can apply skills learned in your studies to different assignments.
- You possess strong oral and written communication skills.
- You are open to feedback and interested in professional growth.
Location & details#
- Locations: Atlanta, GA; Brentwood, TN; or Knoxville, TN.
- Term: Summer 2028 (May through July).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
