About the role#
We are looking for a Business Operations Intern to join our team in Rochester, Michigan, for the Winter 2027 term. This paid internship offers a blend of administrative and operational experience within a professional services environment. You will work in a hybrid capacity, requiring you to be onsite at least three days per week.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team and other stakeholders.
- Handle daily office tasks including copying, scanning, mail delivery, and FedEx coordination.
- Assist with calendar management, meeting preparation, and expense report processing.
- Provide coverage for the reception area and assist with guest and visitor support.
- Prepare and update business documents using Microsoft Office.
- Respond to internal and external client inquiries and direct them to the right resource.
- Support regional administrative special projects and other office priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate or Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and intranet software.
- Ability to use AI tools like Copilot.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at least 20 hours per week during core business hours.
- Ability to work in blocks of at least two hours.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.
