About the role#
As an Information Technology Intern at Cat Financial, you will join a specific department to work on at least one project throughout the summer. You will work independently, apply your analytical skills, and present your project findings to management at the end of the program. The role includes opportunities to interact with senior leaders and other interns through group activities and social events.
What you'll do#
- Perform programming, development, integration, and system administration assignments.
- Work independently on complex processes used by programs, systems, or infrastructure releases.
- Develop major system modules and infrastructure releases based on customer requirements.
- Execute integrated testing and customer acceptance testing for system components.
- Assist customers with documentation, training, and usability efforts.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment at a 4-year university in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a relevant degree.
- Completion of 90 semester hours before the start of the internship.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Ability to relocate to the work location and manage a daily commute using reliable transportation.

- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
