About the role#
Caterpillar Remanufacturing is hiring Engineering Co-Ops for our facilities in Corinth and Booneville, Mississippi. This is a full-time, paid position requiring 40 hours of work per week. You will participate in a rotational program for a maximum of three rotations, with specific terms available for Winter 2027, Fall 2027, Summer 2028, and Winter 2029.
What you'll do#
- Collect data for capital and salvage projects.
- Ensure the accuracy of existing documentation, including line rates and sequenced procedures.
- Create Standard Work for various operations areas.
- Perform capacity analysis studies on production work areas and equipment.
- Assist the Continuous Product Improvement group with quality and warranty data analysis.
- Create AutoCAD drawings of production tooling.
- Perform process waste elimination and safety walks.
- Utilize 3-D printed prototypes, gages, and assembly fixtures.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment at a 4-year accredited university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
- A minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in analytical, computer, and interpersonal tasks.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing methodology and AutoCAD.
- Ability to pass background, drug, and alcohol screenings.

- Locations: Corinth, MS and Booneville, MS.
- Modality: On-site, 5 days per week.
