About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 semester based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will work as a member of the Security Team within the OCOS staff, contributing 10 to 15 hours per week. This role provides exposure to the various aspects of Industrial Security as it relates to the protection of National Security.
What you'll do#
- Monitor OCONUS travel and conferences to provide up-to-date briefings.
- Analyze and process suspicious contact reports.
- Assist the security team with documentation and inspection readiness tasks.
- Support the security front office with administrative duties.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree-granting program, specifically in Political Science, International Relations, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, or Public Health.
- Additional coursework, seminars, or workshops in national security or homeland security-related disciplines.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to various locations to support the mission.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Successful completion of a background check.
