About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 semester, requiring 10-15 hours per week. You will join the Security Team as a member of the OCOS staff, gaining exposure to all aspects of Industrial Security as it relates to the protection of National Security.
What you'll do#
- Monitor SEI OCONUS and conference activities to provide up-to-date briefings.
- Review and analyze suspicious contact reports through established analytical processes.
- Assist with security front office tasks and documentation.
- Support the security team with inspection readiness tasks.
- Assist with OCONUS travel briefings.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree-granting program, ideally with additional coursework in national security or homeland security.
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet inflexible deadlines, and maintain composure when dealing with difficult individuals.
- Willingness to travel to various locations to support the mission.
- Eligibility to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship.
- Successful completion of a background check.
