Leasing Intern

About the role#

Cardinal Group Companies is seeking a Leasing Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This role focuses on delivering high-quality customer service, supporting leasing operations, and maintaining community standards. This is a paid, on-site, part-time position based in Omaha, Nebraska.

What you'll do#

• Serve as a customer service ambassador by addressing resident needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Manage administrative front desk tasks and complete all lease applications and file paperwork.
• Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training, including greeting prospective clients, answering calls, and conducting tours.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
• Assist with planning community events and complete additional projects as assigned by the Community Manager.
• Demonstrate a professional attitude when interacting with team members, residents, and vendors.
• Participate in required training programs and assist with on-call responsibilities as needed.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours and at least one year of completed coursework.
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property, including indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred fields of study include Business Administration, Real Estate, or Marketing.
