About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support our apartment community by delivering quality customer service and helping us reach our occupancy goals. You will work as part of a team to welcome prospective residents, manage lease paperwork, and keep our community running smoothly. This is a part-time role that requires you to live on-site at the designated community.
What you'll do#
- Act as an ambassador for customer service by going above and beyond for our residents.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks and assist with community events.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate lease files in line with company policy.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training, which includes greeting clients, answering calls, and closing sales.
- Assist the Community Manager with various projects and property tasks as needed.
- Perform on-call duties such as handling lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community.

- Compensation: Hourly rate plus bonus eligibility.
