About the role#
This role supports the daily operations of the dish room. You will work under the direct supervision of the Dish Crew Supervisor or Assistant Supervisor to ensure the area stays clean and functional. This is a part-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Handle tasks necessary for the efficient operation of the dish room.
- Keep the dish washing area clean, sanitary, and orderly throughout your shift.
- Report any equipment breakage or maintenance issues to your supervisor.
- Use cleaning agents correctly and in the proper quantities.
- Notify your supervisor when your station is ready for checkout at the end of a shift.
- Complete other related or special duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a full-time, on-campus student at MBI or MTS.
- Knowledge of how to operate all dish room equipment.
- Familiarity with dish washing principles and the proper use of cleaning agents.
- Commitment to leaving your workspace in a clean and orderly condition.
