About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on customer service and building occupancy. You will work as part of a team to retain current residents and lease available units. This role requires you to live on a designated community floor and participate in on-call duties like lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Handle administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Complete lease applications and required paperwork.
- Participate in the Cardinal Way of Leasing training, which includes greeting clients, answering calls, and closing sales.
- Assist with planning community events and other projects assigned by the Community Manager.
- Maintain the tour path to ensure a positive first impression of the community.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Completion of at least one year of college.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- A valid driver license.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends, typically 20 hours per week.
- You must be a current or future leaseholder at the community and reside on the designated floor.

- This is an on-site role located in Norman, Oklahoma.
- The position is paid and full-time in nature.
- Employment is on a rolling basis and requires an annual re-application.
