About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will support the community by focusing on customer service, resident retention, and leasing availability. You will work as part of a team to maintain high occupancy levels and ensure a positive experience for prospective and current residents. This is a temporary, part-time position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Serve as an ambassador for customer service by ensuring resident satisfaction.
- Manage administrative front desk tasks and maintain accurate lease file documentation.
- Complete lease applications and all associated paperwork.
- Participate in and assist with the planning of community events.
- Conduct property tours, answer leasing calls, and assist with the sales process.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the tour path to ensure a positive first impression.
- Perform on-call duties such as lock-outs and nightly rounds.
- Work evenings and weekends as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least six credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college or university studies.
- A minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
- Current or future status as a leaseholder of the community.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Valid driver's license.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Psychology, Communications, or Human Resources.
