About the role#
Cardinal Group Companies is hiring a Leasing Community Intern in Tuscaloosa. This is a paid, on-site role that offers an opportunity to gain experience in real estate operations. You will work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. This position requires you to live on-site at the community.
What you'll do#
- Act as a customer service ambassador to ensure resident satisfaction.
- Handle front desk administrative tasks and manage lease paperwork.
- Maintain accurate lease file documentation and participate in file audits.
- Assist with planning community events and maintaining the tour path.
- Complete Cardinal U and Cardinal Way of Leasing training programs.
- Handle on-call responsibilities such as lock-outs and property rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and access all areas of the property.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Majors in Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications are preferred.
