About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will serve as a representative for customer service and help maintain high occupancy levels. You will work as part of a team to assist residents and prospective clients while gaining experience in the real estate industry. This is a paid, part-time position that requires on-site work, including evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Manage front desk administrative duties and answer incoming calls.
- Greet prospective clients and conduct tours of the community.
- Help close sales and determine the needs of potential residents.
- Process lease applications and maintain accurate lease file paperwork.
- Keep the tour path clean and presentable at all times.
- Assist in planning and executing community events.
- Participate in required training programs and community projects.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least 6 credit hours.
- Completion of at least one year of college and a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and access all areas of the property.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community, residing on the designated floor.
