About the role#
The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on creating an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while gaining hands-on retail management experience. You will work closely with the Store Manager to understand how the business operates and what is required to excel in a leadership role. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Bloomington, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Complete key sections of the Buckle Management Manual, including Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring.
- Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
- Perform sales, merchandising, and operational tasks such as cashiering, processing register transactions, and creating merchandise displays.
- Develop core skills in recruiting, merchandising, and team leadership.
- Provide weekly progress reports and updates to the Area and District Managers.
- Participate in monthly conference calls to discuss business performance and goals.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Operations Management from a four-year college or university.
- Interest in a long-term commitment with the company.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver 50 lbs throughout the store and backroom.

- Location: Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $16-$17 per hour, plus commission on sales.
- Schedule: Rolling term with a flexible schedule that may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and specific holidays.
