About the role#
As a Leasing Community Intern, you will focus on resident retention and leasing vacant units to reach occupancy goals. You will act as a primary point of contact for residents and prospective clients while gaining hands-on experience in property management operations.
What you'll do#
- Deliver customer service to residents and prospective clients.
- Handle administrative tasks at the front desk.
- Complete lease applications and maintain accurate file documentation.
- Participate in Cardinal Way of Leasing training and certification.
- Assist with planning and executing community events.
- Conduct property tours and manage the tour path to ensure a positive impression.
- Perform on-call duties including lock-outs and nightly rounds.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a degree program at an accredited college or university with at least one year completed.
- Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
- Status as a current or future leaseholder of the community, living on the designated floor.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Real Estate, Marketing, or Communications.
