About the role#
As an Electrical Student Intern, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to work under the direction of a licensed engineer. You will support projects involving new construction and renovations across the Commercial, Education, Health, Science and Technology, and Sports and Recreation sectors. This position is based on a rolling term and has the potential to transition into a full-time entry-level role for qualified students.
What you'll do#
- Perform electrical design for lighting, power distribution, and communication systems, including fire alarms.
- Prepare technical documents and reports from the initial concept phase through advanced design documentation.
- Assist in reviewing and marking up shop drawing submittals.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, which may involve physical walk-throughs.
- Complete all mandatory training, including compliance requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with engineering design software such as Revit MEP or SKM Power Tools is preferred.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Work Modality: On-site, hybrid, and remote options available.
- Compensation: $26.25 to $30.25 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
