About the role#
As a student intern, you will join our multi-disciplinary team to work under the direction of a licensed engineer. You will support projects across the Commercial, Education, Health, S&T, and Sports & Rec markets. This position has the potential to evolve into a full-time entry-level role based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Perform electrical design for lighting, power distribution, and communication systems, including fire alarms.
- Prepare documents and reports from the concept phase through advanced technical design.
- Assist in reviewing and marking up shop drawing submittals.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, which may involve physical walk-throughs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master's degree program in Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in engineering design programs like Revit MEP or SKM Power Tools is preferred.
