About the role#
As an Electrical Student Intern, you will join our multi-disciplinary team. You will work under the direction of a licensed engineer on projects including new construction and renovation. These projects span the Commercial, Education, Health, Science and Technology, and Sports and Recreation markets. This position has the potential to evolve into a full-time entry-level role based on business needs.
What you'll do#
- Perform electrical design for lighting, power distribution, and communication systems, including fire alarms.
- Prepare documents and reports from concept design through advanced technical design documentation.
- Assist in the review and markup of shop drawing submittals.
- Visit job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress, which may involve physical walk-throughs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with computer applications for engineering design is preferred.

- Compensation: $22.25 to $26.25 per hour.
- Status: Paid internship with rolling terms.
