About the role#
This is a 12-month student position based at our head office in Calgary. You will join our team to support marketing and business development projects while gaining hands-on experience in the oil and gas sector. This is a full-time, paid position starting in September 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build a contract management lifecycle tool to track service agreements, key terms, and compliance.
- Track monthly crude quality characteristics for production, including the collection of historical data for feeder pipelines.
- Coordinate with production teams and service providers to maintain and publish data systems.
- Support the review process for new marketing and business development opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in your 2nd or 3rd year of a degree program in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- A self-starter mindset with a focus on task completion.
- Previous experience in oil and gas business development or finance is an asset.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada without restrictions.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Term: 12 months starting September 2027.
- Benefits: Competitive salary, paid time off during Christmas week, and summer Fridays in July and August.
