About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring a Marketing Intern to join the NGL commercial and fundamentals team in Calgary. This role is part of the Marketing and Strategy Division and focuses on commodity marketing activities, including buying and selling products like natural gas, ethane, propane, butane, and crude oil. You will work on an 8 or 12 month contract, gaining hands-on experience in analytical and commercial projects.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks assigned by your team leader and assist with administrative or operational projects.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to support business initiatives.
- Conduct research and present your findings or project outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on day-to-day work.
- Use tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and other internal systems.
- Support the company safety culture of Zero by Choice and follow all life saving rules.
- Demonstrate company values and contribute to an inclusive, diverse workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a postsecondary program with the intent to return to school after the term.
- A field of study in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Demonstrated financial acumen or a strong interest in the finance sector.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a structured environment.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the term.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Programming skills are an asset but not required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background and criminal record checks.
