About the role#
ARC Resources Ltd. is seeking a Commodities Marketing Summer Student to join the Marketing team for a 4-month term starting in May 2027. This position offers exposure to financial markets and provides the chance to build business skills while learning about marketing across gas, crude, and NGL commodities. You will report to the Manager, Market Development.
What you'll do#
- Prepare weekly and monthly internal reports covering price and tolling updates, outage tracking, transportation analytics, and crude blending models.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting and analytics for gas, crude, and NGL commodities.
- Assist front office Marketing Representatives by developing an understanding of the infrastructure downstream portfolio.
- Help execute and manage trade confirmations.
- Support regulatory, audit, and credit requests.
- Work with the Marketing Accounting team on invoice generation and reconciliation.
- Assist with market research for long-term strategy, product diversification, and competitor analysis.
- Provide project support for the Marketing team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your second or third year of a Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, or a related field.
- Returning to studies in the following term.
- Strong proficiency in Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and enthusiasm.
- Data analysis experience is an asset.
- Familiarity with marketing systems like Eka, Egistix, or ICE NGX is beneficial.
