About the role#
This summer internship provides hands-on experience in U.S. Commercial Marketing. You will work with professionals to support natural gas scheduling, commercial operations, and energy market analysis. This role offers exposure to transport and storage optimization, energy trading systems, and market fundamentals.
What you'll do#
- Support natural gas marketing activities for an assigned operating region.
- Assist with transaction entry and administration in the ENDUR Energy Trading and Risk Management system.
- Support transport and storage optimization activities.
- Analyze market information and contribute to discussions on natural gas market fundamentals.
- Assist with commercial reporting, data validation, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support daily business activities and commercial decision-making.
- Develop an understanding of natural gas transportation, storage, and trading operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Economics or related degree program.
- Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
- Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week from May 2027 through August 2027.
- Knowledge of natural gas markets, energy fundamentals, or commercial operations.
- Familiarity with energy trading, transportation, storage, or scheduling concepts.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting tools, or business systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information accurately and manage ambiguity.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a challenging environment.
- A commitment to a safety mindset.
