About the role#
As a Robotics Process Automation Student, you will work with experienced professionals to automate routine tasks using UiPath. This role involves business analysis, systems analysis, project management, and process development. You will help deliver value-add projects and gain hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry.
What you'll do#
- Document AS IS and TO BE process mapping with business teams.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business subject matter experts.
- Identify, analyze, and quantify opportunities for automation.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications for the development team.
- Troubleshoot and repair problems as they occur.
- Quantify and report the benefits of completed automation projects.
- Perform RPA development tasks as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Operations Management or Computer Science.
- Basic understanding of RPA software capabilities.
- Ability to grasp technical and business concepts to connect IT and business areas.
- General proficiency with SQL and database query tools.
- Knowledge of oil and gas terminology and concepts is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada (Head Office).
- Work Modality: On-site, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day.
- Terms: Summer 2027 (4 months, part-time) and Fall 2027 (12 months, full-time).
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
