About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to support technology, analytics, and business process improvement initiatives. You will work with data, reporting tools, and application development platforms while collaborating with stakeholders across various functions. This role offers hands-on experience in dashboard development, business process mapping, data management, and documentation. You will contribute to projects that improve decision-making and operational efficiency while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Build and manage custom solutions using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Analyze and manipulate data sets to support reporting and business needs.
- Support business process mapping and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain team SharePoint sites and related content.
- Prepare and present materials for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Support backend data lake ingestion and data mapping activities.
- Create and maintain project and process documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related degree program with at least four semesters completed.
- Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027.
- Commitment to return to full-time studies immediately after the work term.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the term.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps.
- Experience with AWS tools, Python, or SQL.
- Project or academic experience in data analytics and data manipulation.
- Experience with SharePoint and dashboard development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to building relationships.
- Ability to analyze information, handle ambiguity, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A safety mindset and a commitment to continuous personal development.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Term: This position spans from May 2027 through August 2028.
