About the role#
As an Actuarial Intern at CAA Club Group, you will work with the Actuarial team to support our insurance operations. This role offers exposure to areas such as Pricing, Corporate Actuarial, or Business Intelligence and Analytics. You will report to an Actuarial Manager and interact with senior management and internal stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Run applications for data extraction and analyze the findings.
- Prepare liability estimates for review by senior management.
- Assist with month-end financial reporting tasks.
- Build and maintain models for profitability, growth, and customer segmentation.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to meet business unit needs and regulatory requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program focused on Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Excel, VBA, Python, SAS, or SQL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality output.
- A proactive, adaptable, and autonomous approach to work.
