About the role#
As an Actuarial Intern at CAA Club Group, you will report to an Actuarial Manager and work alongside Actuarial Associates and senior management. This role provides exposure to the disciplines of Pricing, Corporate, or Business Intelligence and Analytics. This is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2026 term based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Run applications for data extraction and analyze the results.
- Assist with monitoring portfolios for profitability and growth.
- Help develop tools and intelligent reports to support company-wide decision-making.
- Contribute to monthly reserve reviews and analyze claims diagnostics.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support the needs of various business units.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary educational institution with a focus on Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related program.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering quality work.
- Familiarity with Excel, VBA, Python, SAS, SQL, or other programming languages is an asset.
