About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Actuarial Intern position for the Summer 2026 term. You will work under the guidance of an Actuarial Manager and collaborate with senior management and associates. Depending on your team, you will gain exposure to pricing, corporate actuarial work, or business intelligence and analytics.
What you'll do#
- Run applications for data extraction and analyze the results.
- Assist with monitoring our portfolios for profitability and growth.
- Help develop tools and intelligent reports to support company-wide decision-making.
- Contribute to monthly reserve reviews and analyze claims diagnostics.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support the needs of various business units.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program focused on Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Familiarity with Excel, VBA, Python, SAS, or SQL is an asset.
- A curious and analytical mindset with the ability to take on challenges.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while delivering quality work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

This role is based on-site in Mississauga, Ontario.
