About the role#
As a Procurement Engineering Intern, you will support the procurement team by serving as a technical interface with suppliers. You will assist in the fabrication of subcontracted parts and assemblies while ensuring quality and compliance. This position is for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Act as a technical point of contact for suppliers regarding the fabrication of subcontracted parts and assemblies.
- Provide administrative support to the procurement engineering team.
- Create presentation slides for various projects.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an engineering degree program, such as Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- The pay rate for this position is between $25.05 and $31.83 per hour.
