About the role#
Product Development works across the pharmaceutical lifecycle, from discovery to commercial launch. The team handles chemical syntheses, formulations, and control strategies for small molecule and biological therapeutics. They also manage the manufacturing, packaging, and distribution of clinical supplies for studies in over 50 countries.
What you'll do#
As a summer intern, you will work with mentors for approximately 10 weeks on a guided research project within a Product Development project team. This program is designed to provide functional experience through challenging assignments.
Your experience will include:
- Participating in an orientation covering company structure, products, and brands.
- Gaining exposure to senior management and business leaders.
- Attending speaker series, learning sessions, and networking events.
- Participating in formal review and feedback sessions.
- Delivering a final formal presentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university program that continues after the summer of 2027.
- Undergraduate or dual degree pursuit in biochemistry, biology, biomedical engineering, business analytics, chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial engineering, pharmacy, or supply chain.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0, which must be included on your resume.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. at the time of hire and for the duration of the internship.
Note: Students graduating before December 2027 are not eligible. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
