About the role#
This internship supports the Clean Utilities and EM team with engineering, continuous improvement, and data-focused projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and system owners to design, plan, and execute initiatives within both an office setting and a regulated GMP facility. This is a full-time, ten-week program running from May 17, 2027, to July 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support engineering and improvement projects for Clean Utilities and EM systems, including troubleshooting, documentation updates, and project execution.
- Assist in optimization efforts by contributing to scope development, investigation support, and solution implementation.
- Manage and report data, including organizing datasets, maintaining data integrity, and preparing inputs for analysis.
- Build and support data visualization outputs like dashboards, charts, and trend views to assist with performance monitoring.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, such as summaries, meeting notes, and work records.
- Execute tasks safely and in compliance with GMP environment requirements.
- Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and ensure project deliverables stay on track.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, specifically as a rising junior or rising senior.
- Preferred majors include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering, or life sciences.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to use other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to work without visa sponsorship.
