About the role#
Brinkmann Constructors is hiring a Project Engineer Intern for a rolling internship in Phoenix. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site. You will support the project team, including the Project Manager and Superintendent, with the daily management of construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the day-to-day management of construction projects.
- Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures.
- Maintain professional relationships with the project team, subcontractors, and clients.
- Participate in the Brinkmann BUILD program, which includes training, jobsite visits, and mock bids.
- Support the team by completing assigned tasks independently and seeking guidance when needed.
What you'll need#
- Working toward a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction engineering, or construction management.
- General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems.
- Prior construction internship or work experience is preferred.

- This role involves working in an office or field office, with occasional time spent outdoors. You may need to lift up to 25 pounds.
