About the role#
Brinkmann Constructors is hiring a Business Unit Project Engineer intern for a rolling term. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chesterfield, Missouri. You will work directly with the project team to support daily construction management tasks.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Superintendent with daily project management duties.
- Collaborate with the team to support your assigned project.
- Execute and enforce safety standards, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in the Brinkmann BUILD program, which includes training sessions, jobsite visits, and mock bid exercises.
- Maintain professional relationships with subcontractors, clients, and your project team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, construction engineering, or construction management.
- General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to solve complex challenges.

- Location: Chesterfield, Missouri.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Work is performed primarily in an office or field office, with occasional time spent outdoors on the jobsite. You may need to lift objects up to 25 pounds.
