About the role#
This is a 12-month co-op or PEY placement starting in January 2027. You will gain practical experience in a global medical device organization by supporting quality systems, continuous improvement initiatives, and data reporting. You will work alongside the Quality Systems team to manage key processes and collaborate with cross-functional partners. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is organized, curious, and ready to learn new concepts and tools.
What you'll do#
- Support Quality Systems activities, specifically CAPA and NCEPs.
- Assist owners with project coordination, including activity planning, stakeholder scheduling, and execution.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compile, analyze, and present data and metrics to various stakeholders and leadership.
- Develop reports and visualizations to communicate performance trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily tasks and projects.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Use digital tools and automation to improve reporting and workflows.
- Maintain compliance with the company Quality Policy and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or Quality Assurance.
- Ability to solve problems and learn new systems or processes.
- Experience organizing, interpreting, or presenting data.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Preferred: Postgraduate certificate or degree in quality assurance, quality engineering, or project management.
- Preferred: Experience with Six Sigma, project coordination, or tools like SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Preferred: Academic or project experience with AI tools, data analytics, or programming languages like Python.

- Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (at least three days per week in the office).
- Term: Winter 2027 start (12-month duration).
- Employment: Full-time and paid position.
