Description: Research Audiology Intern Kitchener, Ontario | In Person | Flexible Part Time Join Sonova’s Audiology Research Centre Canada team as a Research Audiology Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting clinical research for emerging hearing technology and upcoming product launches. Working alongside experienced research audiologists, you will contribute to participant coordination, audiological testing, data collection and day-to-day research activities. This position offers practical experience at the intersection of clinical audiology and hearing aid research and development. Responsibilities Support clinical research assessing product readiness ahead of launch. Assist with participant recruitment, screening, scheduling and study visits. Prepare hearing devices, test equipment, software and laboratory spaces for research sessions. Assist with audiological assessments conducted as part of the participant-screening process. Support experimental assessments, including speech-in-noise testing, subjective assessments and home-trial questionnaires. Help orient participants to hearing aid features, mobile applications and study questionnaires. Provide continuing support to study participants during the field-trial portions of research studies. Assist with research data entry, documentation and reporting. Collaborate with research audiologists and other members of the Audiology Research Centre Canada team. More About You Currently completing or recently completed graduate-level training in Audiology or a related field. Foundational knowledge of audiological assessments, hearing aids and hearing science. Strong interest in clinical research, hearing technology and evidence-based audiology. Eligible for registration with the Association of Hearing Instrument Practitioners of Ontario as a Hearing Instrument Specialist upon completion of the applicable training program. Comfortable interacting with research participants in a professional and supportive manner. Organized, dependable and attentive to detail. Able to follow research procedures and accurately document information. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Work Arrangement This is a flexible, part-time position, with hours varying based on research activities and project needs. Work will be scheduled on an as-needed basis, offering flexibility around other professional or academic commitments.
