About the role#
As a manufacturing engineering intern, you will work directly with the manufacturing engineering team lead. You will be involved in additive manufacturing and process optimization. Your goal is to help make operations more efficient and performant.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the industrialization and production of 3D printing technologies, including polymers, SLS processes, and high-precision post-processing.
- Identify bottlenecks, remove waste, and propose concrete solutions to improve work methods.
- Assist in the qualification of new equipment and the validation of processes.
- Analyze and resolve technical production issues, such as performance gaps or equipment stops.
- Implement and track corrective and preventive actions.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing a bachelor's degree in industrial, chemical, or mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in French and English, specifically for reading and writing technical reports.
- Knowledge of additive (3D SLS) and subtractive (machining) manufacturing processes.
- Ability to use generative AI tools like Gemini, Claude, or ChatGPT to assist with daily tasks.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- An eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and clear communication abilities.
- Previous internship experience, knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, or familiarity with ISO 13485 standards are considered assets.

- Location: Québec, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027, to April 23, 2027).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
