About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern, you play a key role in ensuring patient safety and the quality of our medical devices. You will develop and maintain quality systems, represent quality initiatives, and provide support within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world engineering challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support Value Improvement Projects, such as yield and process improvements or material cost savings.
- Use design for manufacturing principles to develop equipment and tooling for production lines.
- Create inspection systems to ensure products meet critical requirements.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve quality issues using systematic problem-solving methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes.
- Design and sustain procedures and tools for medical devices.
- Assist in developing streamlined business systems to track and resolve quality issues.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to start on May 17th or May 24th, 2027, for a 12-week term.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Experience in the medical device industry, knowledge of statistical analysis, and a self-starting approach are preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is based on-site, five days per week.

- This role is classified as safety-sensitive and requires a prohibited substance test.
