About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer Intern, you will support the daily production of medical devices. You will work on engineering investigations related to products, materials, processes, and equipment to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. Your day will involve reviewing production reports, attending standups, and balancing hands-on troubleshooting with project planning.
What you'll do#
- Support daily production through engineering investigations.
- Reduce scrap and increase product output.
- Aid in the development of new products and processes.
- Improve existing processes and products.
- Solve equipment problems.
- Generate validation data and reports.
- Manage projects.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Ability to start on May 17th or 24th, 2027, for a 12-week duration.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to identify improvement opportunities.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is based on-site five days per week.
- This position is for Summer 2027.
