About the role#
As a Contracts Intern, you will support the daily operations of our contracts team. This role involves managing documentation, conducting research, and handling administrative tasks related to contract files. You will also lead a project aimed at improving internal processes.
What you'll do#
- Prepare, review, and organize contract documents like NDAs, task orders, and subcontract agreements.
- Perform data entry and maintain records within our internal systems.
- Research regulatory requirements, industry standards, and specific contract terms.
- Create summaries of contract deliverables and requirements.
- Lead a strategic project to optimize internal procedures.
- Join cross-functional meetings and assist with process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Political Science, Supply Chain Management, or Finance, with an expected graduation date by Spring 2027.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with procurement, compliance, or contract management processes.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Bonus points for experience with SharePoint, government contracting, FAR or DFARS, and strong analytical or research skills.
