About the role#
Bohler is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Westborough, Massachusetts office for the Summer 2027 term. This role offers hands-on experience in the land development and site design process. You will work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers on commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and permitting of various development projects.
- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create concept, grading, stormwater management, utility, and erosion control plans.
- Coordinate with local jurisdictions and research zoning ordinances.
- Visit project sites to observe field conditions and the engineering process.
- Collaborate with team members to drive projects forward.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
