About the role#
This position is open exclusively to current and recent HNTB interns. As a Civil Engineer I, you will join our team to support the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will work alongside project teams to develop designs, perform calculations, and help ensure project success.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the production and modification of design calculations, engineering plans, and specifications.
- Support the preparation of project reports and technical documentation.
- Help prepare project quantity and cost estimates.
- Perform research, data collection, and field investigations.
- Contribute to project execution using current drawing and technical software tools.
- Organize and maintain project design files.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Current or recent status as an HNTB intern.
- Knowledge of standard engineering techniques, procedures, and design criteria.
- Experience working with technical reports and engineering plans.
- Familiarity with design calculations and specifications.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site position based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- The role is paid.
