About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the health insurance industry. You will support the Medicare Advantage Servicing team by assisting analysts, senior analysts, and project consultants. The program focuses on building your professional skills through meaningful projects and networking opportunities with leaders and peers across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Pull reports from internal tools to support leadership.
- Assist with weekly employee education and incentive programs.
- Prepare research materials to identify business problems and suggest solutions.
- Support projects aimed at improving team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze business goals and organizational needs.
- Participate in department meetings, networking events, and community volunteer activities.
- Complete assigned deliverables on time.
- Build a working knowledge of company products, data, and organizational structure.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and build professional relationships.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based in Detroit, Michigan.
- This position is on-site and requires travel for in-person staff meetings.
